Abel is the Chief Technical Officer at Revego Fund Managers and holds a BSc Eng and MBA from Wits University. He is qualified as an engineer. After qualifying in 1999, he started his engineering career with Gold Fields of SA and later joined De Beers. He joined Investec Bank in 2007 in the Resource Finance lending business focusing on mining clients. He later moved to Investec Bank’s Specialised Finance Africa lending team thereafter, with a focus on growing the bank’s presence in Africa. His last role at Investec Bank was in the Power & Infrastructure Finance lending business.

Michael has a unique skill set with over 25 years’ experience in specialist local and international energy, infrastructure and mining finance. His career in the energy sector started with independent power developer, Edison Mission Energy in 1991 and since then has had numerous leadership roles within the Investec Group covering both debt and equity products. Michael was also Chief Financial Officer for the listed MC Mining Limited where he part of the management team that implemented a turnaround strategy.

Ziyaad is the Chief Financial Officer of Revego Fund Managers. He has 19 years of experience in infrastructure, financial services and renewable energy. After a short stint at a boutique investment bank, Ziyaad was the global sector head of infrastructure in the Client Coverage division of Standard Bank. He is a Chartered Accountant (SA).

Andre heads the Investec Power & Infrastructure Finance team based in Johannesburg. The team provides funding solutions for power and infrastructure projects and Sponsors across Sub-Saharan Africa. Andre has been with Investec for 15 years with a broad range of experience in the specialist lending space across multiple sectors.

Bronwen is a Charted Accountant with experience in investment banking and  fund management. Currently she is fund manager in  the Investec Specialist Investments (ISI)  business with a strong focus on unlisted credit, enhanced cash and structured strategies. One of ISI’s strategies is a credit co-investment portfolio that leverages off Investec’s loan origination capabilities which includes, but is not limited to, assets in the Power and Infrastructure sector.

She serves as a non-executive director of Augusta Steel Proprietary Limited and Bud Rental Services Proprietary Limited.

Shelley is an Independent Non-Executive Director at Texton Property Fund Limited and Workforce Holdings Limited and serves as Chair of the board of Industrial Timber Supplies Proprietary Limited. She has deep insight into the workings of large organisations in the public and private sector. Her previous appointments included Director in the internal audit division of SekelaXabiso, divisional head of Forensic, Compliance, and Governance at Protect-A-Partner International and Financial Director at Ubambo Investment Holdings Limited, amongst others.

Nkateko is an MBA and BCom graduate with majors in Information Systems, Economics and Accounting. She currently serves as the CEO of Dzana Investments with the sole aim of creating a holding company with interests in property, energy, education, health and ICT sectors. During her career Nkateko worked for BMW SA, Gauteng Shared Services Centre and Deloitte Consulting.

Carla is the Chief Operations Officer at H1 Holdings, an investment firm which focuses on developing and managing clean energy power plants. Her broad range of business acumen includes operations management, human resources, project management and governance. She believes in transformative leadership and aims to unify people in favour of a common purpose. Prior to H1, she served as Managing Director of Lemon Zest Consulting, a specialist recruitment firm.
